1. Information Collection
Personal Information
CareMart collects personal information you give us when you visit our site, order products or services, and/or fill out requests for information through our login and account information. We only collect personally identifiable information that you provide to us when you choose to create an account on our site, such as: name, address, phone number, email address, shipping and billing information (e.g., credit card number and expiration date), date of birth, gender, name and number of the inmate/trustee that is having the order shipped to them, your preferences relating to selections made and any other information you may volunteer.
Non-Personal Information
We may also collect and record non-personal information regarding your visit to the CareMart site, such as user-specific information on what pages on the site were visited. We may track the page you visited before coming to our site and the page (s) you link to when you leave. And we obtain certain types of technical information when your Web browser accesses CareMart, such as your Internet protocol (IP) address (a unique number that identifies your Internet access which is generated when your web browser or email application requests a web page or email from another computer on the Internet), the domain name and host from which you access the Internet and computer and connection information, such as browser type and version and operating system.
Cookies
Like many Websites, we receive and store certain types of information automatically through the use of “cookies” in addition to the non-personal information we collect. We do not sell or rent personal information collected from visitors to the site. The information we collect is used to better serve the CareMart users by making their online visits more enjoyable and effective. CareMart employs third parties to perform certain business functions on its behalf. These functions may include, but are not limited to: (a) collecting personal information that you provide to us, such as credit card information; (b) processing and fulfilling product or service orders (c) storing and analyzing data; (d) providing marketing assistance; and (e) processing and storing account and deposit information and generating records regarding CareMart participants. None of these third parties may use any personal information collected for any purpose other than to carry out its business function on our behalf. CareMart may also, from time to time, disclose aggregate or summary information to such third party service providers as stated in Section 2 above, but we do not otherwise share any information with our third party service providers.
CareMart generally does not share email address information with any third parties, except that we may occasionally send email offers or notices to users regarding certain events, promotions, activities or opportunities, and we may provide email information to our third party product providers in order to facilitate a user’s order request. Notwithstanding anything else in this privacy policy, we may disclose personal and other collected information when required by law or when we deem it necessary to protect the rights or safety of site users, our employees or property. This includes exchanging information with third parties or organizations in connection with the investigation or prevention of suspected fraud or illegal activity. 4. Customer Options
CareMart occasionally sends offers or notices to certain site users by email and collects survey information from time to time about new opportunities, programs, events or other activities. You can always choose not to receive such emails by (1) simply not checking the box indicating your permission to have such emails sent, (2) not participating in such online surveys, or (3) utilizing the ”SafeUnsubscribe.” Button at the bottom of email communications. We will make every effort to process your request promptly, but please note that you may receive additional contacts before your request takes effect. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
5. Security Procedures in Place to Protect Information
We protect the security of the personal information you provide online by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security software that encrypts such information after you log on and while you browse any profile or shopping cart pages. The security features are automatic. To be sure your connection is secure, you can look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window and, depending on your browser, look for an unbroken key or closed padlock icon to indicate that the SSL is active and your information is secure or in your URL address bar it will show the color “green” behind the URL address to denote the presence of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security software while on our site
Additionally, CareMart employs industry standard firewall and anti-virus protection along with maintaining vendor security patches and host-based intrusion detection systems.
Although CareMart has implemented measures designed to secure personal information collected on our website from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes, nor can we guarantee that the transmission of data over the Internet that includes your personal information, or information storage technology, will be 100% secure.

Site users may view, correct or update the personal information previously provided to us by following the instructions in our Profile area or by contacting us.
7. Children's Privacy
CareMart does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 and does not target its website or any of its products or services to children under the age of 13.

If we decide to change or update our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement.
